Detection in Ocular Health
With our state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, we can assess your ocular health. Our team collaborates with other health professionals, particularly ophthalmologists, to follow patients who have undergone refractive surgery or who are living with certain diseases, such as glaucoma and diabetes.
Electronic tonometer: Tonometry precisely determines internal eye pressure. It can detect certain disorders, such as glaucoma or uveitis.
Retinal camera: Retinal photography allows precise observation of certain changing conditions, such as diabetes, blood pressure or cholesterol.
Visual field: Visual field measurement allows detection of certain neurological disorders.
Dilation: Dilation allows better examination of the interior of the eye.
Vision examination
Optometrists hold a Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) diploma. They perform an ocular health examination and visual function analysis (ocular-visual examination), with or without drugs.
Ocular emergency treatment
Our optometrists can treat several ocular conditions (conjunctivitis, blepharitis, uveitis, foreign bodies, etc.) by administering or prescribing drugs or by dispensing appropriate care.
Visual reeducation
Our optometrists also treat visual deficiencies, mainly in children, by means of orthoptics (visual reeducation), ophthalmic lenses, eyeglasses or contact lenses.
Orthotic correction
Our dispensing opticians are specialists in installation, replacement, adjustment and sale of ophthalmic lenses (eyeglasses and contact lenses), according to the prescription issued by an optometrist or an ophthalmologist.
Orthotic customization
Our opticians are equipped with very advanced technology allowing manufacturing of customized corrective lenses for each user of progressive lenses. The technology allows adaptation of our lenses to the individual’s habits.
On-site orthotic preparation
Each DOYLE boutique has an on-site laboratory for faster service. In many cases, the laboratory technician can assemble your new frame in 60 minutes!
