Originally a brand of sunglasses sold out of an adorable bike trailer to New Orleans festival-goers, Krewe is now recognized as one of the most talented small designers in eco-friendly handmade eyewear. Krewe's frame collections are made in small batches to eliminate waste. Needless to say, they always sell out. Depending on the complexity of the design, their plant-based acetates can take up to 12 weeks to come to life in the workshop. The frames are carefully handcrafted in-house, and each pair of Krewe glasses undergoes a 100-point inspection before being released on the market.
